Welcome to the April issue of Life & Coffee, our space to celebrate and talk about all things coffee, food and life. Throughout April we took part in some exciting events. We continued to take steps on our vida e mundo journey, with our first beach cleanup. OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY
This month we celebrated World Earth Day: A reminder to be more aware of how we are treating our planet and ensure a sustainable world for everyone. That’s what “vida e mundo” (meaning “life & the world”) is all about!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on our first beach cleanup with The Beach Co-op this month. It was a very successful turnout! We had just over 70 people join us on the day and we collected 103.8kg of waste, of which 10kg will go to glass recycling. We cannot thank you enough for joining. Every bit helps in making an impact. In continuing our sustainability journey we are doing another beach cleanup in May. Please join us as we help encourage everyone to reduce single-use plastic. Let’s be better together!
